Podcasting is more than storytelling with a hip name–it’s intense, well-crafted stories on the go, like an espresso or an ice cream cone. The medium grew parallel to the technology that allows us to listen anywhere. There’s no limitation on content either; whatever your interest is, there’s a podcast about it.
Blok by Blok’s goal is to encourage young people not only to listen but to contribute to the conversation by creating their own podcasts. We provide Chicago’s youth with skills so they can lead an interview, investigate an issue they care about, and finally edit and publish their own podcast.
